Danny Chrisidis moved with his family from Katerini to the U.S. while still in elementary school, later meeting Eleni, who moved to Philadelphia for college. By the time the duo pivoted into coffee together, Danny had built a long career in restaurants and food, while Eleni's career focused on business and corporate strategy."

"Those strengths converge behind the scenes at The Brew Room, where lead barista Alexandros Chrysikopoulos dials in coffees using a La Marzocco Linea Classic S espresso machine paired with a Mahlkönig G65 GBW grinder, along with distribution tools and an automatic tamper."

The Brew Room opened in October 2025 in Ardmore on Philadelphia's Main Line. The pastry case includes spanakopita, bougatsa, and other savory and sweet items. The coffee menu offers Greek-style drinks such as Freddo Espresso and Freddo Cappuccino. Founders Eleni and Danny Chrisidis were born in northern Greece and combined restaurant, food, and business experience to open the shop. Lead barista Alexandros Chrysikopoulos works with a La Marzocco Linea Classic S and a Mahlkönig G65 GBW grinder.
