After recent closures, Bay Area coffee chain to debut cafe near SF waterfront
""It is a vibrant, walkable, and welcoming waterfront community where the city's future is taking shape," a spokesperson at Blue Bottle shared. "Blue Bottle is proud to be part of this new neighborhood, bringing our coffee to a place that celebrates connection, creativity, and everyday livability.""
""exploring options to reopen in the area at a later date,""
Blue Bottle will open a new coffee shop at 1385 Fourth St. near Mission Rock on Nov. 10. The site sits adjacent to a 28-acre mixed-use waterfront complex south of Oracle Park and was targeted for about a year for its walkability and vibrant setting. Mission Rock completed initial phases in 2023 and 2024 and now hosts eateries including Flour + Water Pizzeria, Arsicault Bakery, Ike's Love & Sandwiches, and Via Aurelia, with Quik Dog expected this fall. Blue Bottle recently closed several Bay Area cafes, including locations in Oakland and Mint Plaza, and temporarily closed a Palo Alto cafe before reopening it.
