The Empress Room is an intimate cocktail bar that opened on March 6 on the second floor above Madam Mikette's in Manhattan. The candlelit lounge accommodates approximately 70 seated guests with additional standing room, featuring low tables, plush seating, and a central bar. Live jazz performances create the atmosphere while the cocktail menu centers on tarot-inspired drinks, each named after tarot cards with carefully balanced flavor profiles. Signature cocktails include The Devil with aged rum and coffee notes, and The Empress featuring gin and apricot. Small plates like tuna tartare tacos and shrimp tempura complement heartier options such as lobster mac and cheese.
