Peppermint White Russian
"The White Russian is a classic cocktail that's been around since the 1950's, made with vodka, heavy cream, and coffee liqueur. It's a spin-off on another classic cocktail, the Black Russian, which simply pairs vodka and Kahlua. You might know the White Russian from the 1998 movie The Big Lebowski, but it's got much longer history. For the Peppermint White Russian variation, you simply add peppermint schnapps to add a minty finish to each sip."
"It mellows out the flavors into an even more interesting balance. Here's what you'll need: Vodka: The base spirit that lets the other flavors shine Coffee liqueur: I typically use Kahlua, though Tia Maria also works Peppermint schnapps: This is where the magic happens (more on choosing the right proof below) Heavy cream or milk: Brings that signature creamy texture"
