It took three years to develop the concept, and the decor pays homage to its history as an optician's shop. The drinks menu includes original concoctions and a standout Midori sour, showcasing creative combinations with quality ingredients, reflecting a trendy atmosphere and community engagement.
The Midori sour crafted here has no right to be this good, featuring Greek mastiha liqueur, herbal Chartreuse, and sweet Japanese melon spirit Midori.
Bar Lunette's arrival adds a classy, fun cocktail bar vibe to Coolidge Corner, where residents have called for such a spot for years.
The venue's space has a rich history, previously housing an optician, with decor nodding to its past through vintage eyeglass references and posters.
Operating partner Nick Mallia acknowledges the community's excitement, stating, 'We've already had a ton of people say, 'This is exactly what the community needs.''
