White Sox Catcher Korey Lee Progressing From Ankle Injury
Briefly

Korey Lee, the Chicago White Sox catcher, is showing positive signs in his recovery from a left ankle sprain sustained on April 10. Manager Will Venable noted that the swelling has reduced significantly and Lee has regained good strength and range in his ankle. While he is not yet ready for a rehab assignment, his condition appears to be improving. Prior to the injury, Lee had a promising performance with a .333 batting average and an .878 OPS over nine games.
"Well, just a couple of minutes ago I was looking at a picture of his ankle, where the swelling is pretty much all out of there," Venable said.
"He's got good range and strength. So just continuing to progress, I don't think he's at the point where we're going to send him out on a rehab assignment tomorrow."
