Thus, the hope for Borucki is that he'll be able to serve as valuable depth and ultimately return to the majors next season."

He finished at Triple-A Buffalo after being outrighted off the 40-man roster. Borucki threw 4.1 scoreless innings across four relief appearances with Toronto, allowing three hits, four walks and five strikeouts. The White Sox bullpen ranked in the bottom third of MLB, so Borucki projects as depth with potential to return to the majors.
