Trade-Depleted Bulls No Match for Giannis-Free Bucks
"A season-high from Kyle Kuzma, playing against a very, very thin and small Bulls frontcourt, powered the Bucks to a demonstrative 131-115 win. Kuzma finished with 31 points on 12-of-22 shooting from the floor and 4-of-7 shooting from the charity stripe, plus 10 rebounds, six assists and a +18 plus-minus. Earlier Tuesday, Chicago reportedly flipped longtime starting center Nikola Vucevic, shooting guard Kevin Huerter, and center Dario Saric."
"Among non-traded rotation Bulls, Chicago was still without the injured Josh Giddey, Tre Jones or Zach Collins. Per K.C. Johnson of Chicago Sports Network, head coach Billy Donovan indicated that Collins could miss the entire rest of the season. He's been out since Dec. 29 with a first toe sprain. The 6-foot-9 Maryland product, on an expiring $18.1 million contract, has only been healthy for 10 contests with Chicago this year."
Chicago entered the game with only nine healthy players after multiple pre-deadline moves and pending trades. Milwaukee, despite missing Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis, aimed to snap a five-game losing streak. Kyle Kuzma produced a season-high 31 points with 10 rebounds and six assists to lead a 131-115 Bucks win. The Bulls were further depleted by injuries to Josh Giddey, Tre Jones and likely Zach Collins, who could miss the rest of the season. Chicago trailed by 25 at halftime as Milwaukee hit numerous three-pointers, and inconsistent Bulls play prevented a late comeback.
