"Miller was a 2019 sixth-round pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who spent the last two seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also spent a season with the Atlanta Falcons in 2023. Miller's playing time with the Steelers over the last two seasons was limited, seeing only 165 snaps and 12 targets in 2025. He had only nine targets in 2024 with the Steelers and 16 with the Falcons in 2023."
"Miller's best season came with the Buccaneers in 2020, when he caught 37 catches for 581 yards and four touchdowns."
"Scotty Miller joins a WRs room that is headlined by Rome Odunze and Luther Burden III, includes 2025 undrafted free agent Jahdae Walker, brought in Zavion Thomas as a third-round pick, and added free-agent Kalif Raymond back in March. There is a part of me that believes there is still something missing from this group, especially since it doesn't have a third receiver with playmaking ability and flair for the dramatic in big games like DJ Moore. However, rostering tight ends Colston Loveland and Cole Kmet (as well as running back D'Andre Swift) means that this collection of pass catchers is still as deep as last year's group."
Scotty Miller joined the Chicago Bears after attending rookie minicamp on a tryout basis and converting that opportunity into a contract. Miller entered the league as a 2019 sixth-round pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and later spent two seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers and one season with the Atlanta Falcons in 2023. His recent playing time was limited, totaling 165 snaps and 12 targets in 2025, with fewer targets in 2024 and 2023. His most productive season came in 2020 with Tampa Bay, when he recorded 37 receptions for 581 yards and four touchdowns. The Bears’ receiver room includes Rome Odunze, Luther Burden III, Jahdae Walker, Zavion Thomas, and Kalif Raymond, and head coach Ben Johnson called Miller “very intriguing.”
