Coby White Seen As Last Puzzle Piece for Pistons?

Evan Sidery of Forbes reports that the Pistons, who currently have a $14.3 million trade exception, are contemplating a potential deal for White."

"The Pistons lost one of the best backcourt sharpshooters in the league last season in Malik Beasley, who finds himself a man without a team at present. He's dealing with some off-court issues. Detroit brought in Duncan Robinson and Caris LeVert to counteract the Beasley absence. But it hasn't quite clicked. Detroit shoots just the 27th-most threes in the NBA this season (31.8), and is connecting on a fairly mediocre 35 percent of those takes (20th-best). White could help fill that hole for Detroit."

"Earlier this week, White passed Kirk Heinrich into second all-time in Bulls history in 3-pointers made. He's currently hitting 36.6 percent from deep and averaging 18.8 points per game. This is White's third straight season averaging more than seven attempts per game from deep, and he often creates for himself. He's also a solid supplemental facilitator, which could help the Pistons spell All-Star point guard Cade Cunningham."
