The Timberwolves are sending the Pistons a first-round pick swap from this coming summer's draft."
"During a subsequent appearance on ESPN, Charania indicated that the move for Ivey "raises questions about the futures of Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu in Chicago." White and Dosunmu will both hit unrestricted free agency this summer, barring contract extensions with Chicago before the 2026-27 season officially tips off in July. Both have been eyed by the Timberwolves as potential trade additions by this Thursday's deadline."
