Brazil’s national soccer team selected Red Bull New York’s Columbia Park Training Facility in Morris Township, New Jersey, as its home base for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The facility opened in March and includes eight full-size outdoor soccer fields, fully equipped gyms, a dining hall, and advanced technology such as multi-angle camera tracking systems. It also provides a comprehensive medical suite and an innovation lab. Brazil’s head coach Carlo Ancelotti praised the center as new, modern, and well suited for work before and during the tournament. Brazil, the most successful World Cup team with five titles, is in Group C and begins play June 13 at MetLife Stadium against Morocco. Ancelotti named a 26-player squad including Neymar, who returned after being excluded earlier in the year, following recovery from an ACL tear in 2023.
"Brazil’s national soccer team has officially selected Red Bull New York’s brand-new training facility as its home base for the 2026 FIFA World Cup this summer. Located in Morris Township, NJ, and called the Columbia Park Training Facility during the tournament, it opened in March and features eight full-size outdoor soccer fields, fully equipped gyms, a dining hall, and advanced technology, including multi-angle camera tracking systems and a comprehensive medical suite and innovation lab."
"We are very pleased with this decision, Brazil’s head coach Carlo Ancelotti said. The training center is new, modern, and offers all the conditions for our work before and during the World Cup. I want to thank [Red Bull New York] for welcoming us and showing us all the space."
"On Monday, Ancelotti announced his 26-player squad, which will come to the United States this summer in hopes of lifting the trophy for the first time since 2002. Among his most notable decisions was the inclusion of the country’s all-time leading goal scorer, Neymar, after he was excluded back in March. The 34-year-old, who once played for the likes of Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, has not been the same since tearing his ACL in 2023."
"Neymar will be an important player for us at the World Cup, Ancelotti told reporters. We spent the entire year analyzing Neymar. We realized that in this last period, he had continuity and was in good physical condition."
