Stars top scorer to miss start of Avalanche series
Briefly

The Dallas Stars are entering the playoffs without their leading goal scorer Jason Robertson due to a lower-body injury sustained in a recent game against Nashville. Coach Pete DeBoer indicated Robertson, who has 35 goals and 45 assists, is week-to-week and will miss at least the first few playoff games against the Colorado Avalanche. Robertson's injury occurred during a collision with a Predators player, and while his absence is significant given the team's recent struggles, DeBoer expressed a glimmer of hope for his return later in the series if it extends past a week.
Robertson is week-to-week, which rules him out for at least the first few games of the opening-round series against the Colorado Avalanche.
It was a hockey play. [McCarron] is a physical guy. He's going to get a piece of you as you move the puck.
The Stars enter the playoffs having lost their past seven games (0-5-2), the worst stretch of their season.
