Browns' JOK out for season due to '24 neck injury
Briefly

Cleveland Browns linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah has been placed on the reserve/physically unable to perform list, meaning he will miss the entire 2025 season due to a serious neck injury sustained in 2024. Following a collision with Ravens running back Derrick Henry, Owusu-Koramoah spent time in the hospital but has shown improvement. Both he and the Browns management express optimism for his recovery and continued role with the team. The Browns have also added talent to their linebacker corps through the recent draft and free agency investments.
"While I won't suit up this season, I'm focused on what I can control -- my healing, my mindset, and my faith. The body may rest, but the calling never sleeps."
"Jeremiah has the full support of our team, and we expect him to continue to be a part of the organization even though he will not return to the field this year," Browns general manager Andrew Berry said.
