The Obama Presidential Center will open to the public on June 19, 2026, in Jackson Park on Chicago's South Side, coinciding with Juneteenth. From the Sky Room, visitors view the cityscape through the speech's words, connecting the spatial experience to civil rights history. Opening events run June 18-21, beginning with a dedication ceremony.
