Tristan Gray hit a seventh-inning, tie-breaking solo home run to give the Tampa Bay Rays a 5-4 victory over the Chicago White Sox before 12,487 fans. Gray had a brief stint with the White Sox in July, then played 72 games for Triple-A Charlotte before being traded to the Rays for cash on July 26. Adrian Houser, traded to the Rays on July 31, allowed three runs on four hits with nine strikeouts and no walks in 5 1/3 innings. Houser went 6-2 with a 2.10 ERA and 47 strikeouts in 11 starts for the White Sox after signing May 20. The White Sox finished the game with 13 strikeouts.
