Hannah Hampton suffered a quad injury during Chelsea's draw with Arsenal and missed the subsequent Champions League win over St. Polten. The England goalkeeper will be sidelined for a few weeks with an uncertain chance of returning before the end of the year. Hampton has kept four WSL clean sheets this season, more than any other goalkeeper. She is likely to miss England friendlies against China and Ghana. Livia Peng replaced Hampton against St. Polten and is expected to deputise in goal. Chelsea sit second in the WSL, one point behind Manchester City and face Liverpool next.
