Fabregas free to go to Chelsea if he wishes, says Como chief - Soccer News
"Como president Mirwan Suwarso stated, 'If that makes him happy, that's him. You want your employees to stay with you for as long as possible, but at the end of the day, we don't own him, and he's free to go to Chelsea if he wishes.'"
"Suwarso added that if Fabregas were to leave, there are plans in place to allow him to keep his financial interests at Como, 'as long as he doesn't leave to an Italian club in competition.'"
Cesc Fabregas is not being blocked from joining Chelsea by Como president Mirwan Suwarso. Fabregas has been with Como since July 2024 and has led the team to fifth place in Serie A. Despite previous statements of attachment to Como, Suwarso indicated that the club respects Fabregas' wishes. Plans are in place to protect his financial interests at Como if he leaves, provided he does not join a competing Italian club. Como is currently looking to end a winless streak in Serie A.
