Chelsea has secured the signing of goalkeeper Livia Peng from Werder Bremen on a four-year deal. The 23-year-old, who has represented Switzerland internationally, previously enjoyed success at FC Zurich, winning league and cup titles. Last season, Peng established herself as the top goalkeeper at Werder Bremen, featuring prominently in the Frauen-Bundesliga. Expressing her excitement, Peng spoke of her long-standing aspiration to join Chelsea and her eagerness to compete for trophies alongside fellow goalkeeper Hannah Hampton.
Peng said: "It feels so good to be here. When I was 10, I dreamed of playing for Chelsea. Now, my childhood dream has come true and it's so exciting."
Peng added: "It's such a big club. Chelsea want to win titles and so do I. We're a good match. I'm hungry to win here."
