Jeep will launch the all-electric 2026 Recon, a four-wheel-drive SUV with an estimated 250-mile range and a starting price of $65,000 plus a $1,995 destination fee. Production will begin at Toluca Assembly Plant in Mexico, with initial sales in the U.S. and Canada before global expansion. Jeep positioned the Recon alongside the Wagoneer S in an earlier electrification push when Stellantis targeted EVs for half of North American Jeep sales and all European sales by 2030. Automakers scaled back some EV plans, but the Recon retained off-road features such as Selec-Terrain, underbody protection, tow hooks, off-road tires, and e-locker axle technology.
