A recent experiment conducted by YouTuber Mark Rober highlighted the limitations of Tesla Vision when tested against Lidar-based systems, raising alarms over the potential dangers posed to drivers and pedestrians due to these technological choices and the ongoing commitment to the camera-only approach.
Rober also tested a Lidar-equipped vehicle, and the results showcased its superior obstacle detection capabilities, proving that Tesla's reliance on vision-based AI is flawed.
