The Model Y Performance improves acceleration to 0–60 mph in 3.3 seconds and increases EPA-rated range to 308 miles from 277 miles. The vehicle is priced at $57,490, with orders placed September 30 eligible for a $7,500 federal EV tax credit that lowers the effective price to $49,990. Exterior updates include new fascias, a carbon performance spoiler, 21″ Arachnid staggered wheels, and adaptive damping. Performance enhancements add new drive modes and higher battery charge capacity from high-density cells. Interior upgrades include sound-damping materials, heated/ventilated sport seats, rear-seat heating and power recline, and added bolstering.
