Porsche unveiled their striking 963 RSP hypercar this week, a street-legal adaptation of their race car, directly connecting its design to the legendary Porsche Count Rossi 917. This one-off vehicle, owned by Roger Penske, boasts modifications that enhance comfort while retaining its racing essence. CEO Timo Resch highlights the use of high-quality materials and engineering excellence in its construction. Additionally, Porsche driver Timo Bernhard remarked on its driving experience, stating it offers a friendlier and more forgiving ride than the standard model. However, the extent of its street availability remains uncertain, restricted currently to a specific route in Le Mans.
The 963 RSP uses beautiful materials of the best quality available, but is still every bit a race car underneath.
The car behaved perfectly - it felt a little friendlier and more forgiving than the normal 963.
