Man gets call about lost Lamborghini Countach in Connecticut and what he found was a detailer's nightmare
"The Lamborghini Countach was a bit of a mess It is clear from the video that this Lamborghini needed some serious cleaning. The supercar was covered in dust and dirt, although it looked like the paintwork had survived quite well. What made the car a particular mess, however, wasn't just the dirt. AMMO NYC revealed it had mice droppings and urine throughout both the interior and exterior."
"Even a quick wash was enough to transform this amazing supercar. The dirt had hidden what was still a great-looking car. As it was polished up, it just became better and better. The team was very dedicated to getting this Lamborghini looking better than ever. Even the engine bay was cleaned out, while they took out some components for a deeper clean."
A 1984 Lamborghini Countach 5000S had been stored in Connecticut for 20 years and accumulated heavy dust, dirt, sun fade and biological contamination. Mice had left droppings and urine throughout both the interior and exterior, requiring careful sanitation. Detailing specialists removed components such as the trunk, rear wing and fiberglass parts to clean them thoroughly and accessed the engine bay for deeper cleaning. Wheels, interior and painted surfaces were washed and polished, revealing surprisingly preserved paintwork underneath. A relatively quick wash and dedicated restoration work significantly improved the car's appearance and condition.
