Tesla Diner, which opened in Hollywood, is reducing its menu shortly after launch due to overwhelming demand and the need for efficiency. Originally featuring a diverse selection of items, the menu now includes only five sandwiches, two sides, and limited dessert options. Chef Eric Greenspan mentioned that the menu would continually evolve. Several original offerings have been removed, and breakfast items are now restricted to morning hours. Although advertised as a 24-hour diner, actual operating hours are limited to 6 a.m. to midnight, and non-Tesla vehicles reportedly cannot charge on-site.
Despite the initial huge lines of people and cars, the menu appears to have been greatly condensed, with significant items like the Epic Bacon removed.
Chef Eric Greenspan stated that the menu would be "forever evolving" due to "unprecedented demand," which led the team to scale down for efficiency.
Dishes originally available, such as the chicken and waffles and market salad, have been removed, and breakfast items are now limited to morning hours.
While Tesla Diner marketed itself as a 24-hour restaurant, reports indicate limited hours from 6 a.m. to midnight, with charging restrictions for non-Tesla vehicles.
