"If you're used to running 2,000 or 2,100 RPM and you pull that same load, you'll notice the RPM comes way down - maybe around 1,450. That's because we use high-torque, low-rev engines, and our CVT allows us to really work with that wide torque curve."
"With UltraVision you can control the brightness in 20 per cent intervals. If you pull up beside a combine with a grain cart and don't want the light shining into the cab, you can dial that side down and bring it back up when you move away."
Fendt unveiled its fifth-generation 800 Vario tractor at Commodity Classic, featuring significant redesigns across powertrain, technology, and operator experience. The new 6-cylinder, 8-litre CORE80 engine produces up to 343 horsepower while operating at lower RPM—around 1,450 instead of 2,000-2,100—reducing fuel consumption while maintaining strong torque for heavy loads. The VarioDrive drivetrain and Fendt iD low-speed concept maximize efficiency through the engine's wide torque curve. New features include high-speed guidance for auto-steering up to 25 mph, beneficial for spraying and fertilizer application. The UltraVision LED lighting system provides 360-degree illumination with 12 cab-mounted lights adjustable in 20% brightness intervals. The redesigned cab includes the FendtONE interface and premium titanium seats for enhanced operator comfort.
