NC-13 Strike Company of Ukraine's Third Army Corps deployed a Droid TW 12.7 remote-controlled tracked buggy armed with a .50-caliber M2 Browning. The UGV operated alone at frontline positions for 45 consecutive days, performing attack and fire-suppression to deter Russian advances. The vehicle moved to multiple positions at requests from command and observation posts and returned every two days for servicing. The mission combined offensive and suppression roles and demonstrated the potential for scaled operational use of armed ground UGVs to hold dangerous frontline areas while reducing human exposure.
