Instead of waiting in long customs lines, passengers can scan a QR code upon arrival, expediting their transition to vacation mode. Launched in April 2025, this initiative aims to enhance the visitor experience by minimizing waiting times at the airport. The system is accessible 72 hours before travel, ensuring a smoother airport experience and enabling tourists to enjoy the islands' attractions more quickly.
Rather than filling out a customs form on arrival and waiting while everyone's passports are scanned and travel dates are verified by an agent, travelers can now enter their information online in advance and scan the resulting QR code as they breeze through customs.
