Emergency responders arrived at a barn fire in Scarborough around 9:13 a.m. after receiving multiple calls. The fire location near train tracks prompted CN Rail notification. Due to insufficient fire hydrants in the area, water tankers were dispatched from Markham and Pickering to supply water for firefighting efforts. Toronto's largest water tanker, Tower 1, was deployed to assist. Paramedics confirmed no patients or injuries at the scene. Fire crews remained on-site to fully extinguish the fire.
