Startup Canada Announces Jenn Juby as Interim CEO During Kayla Isabelle's Parental Leave
"Startup Canada announced today that their current Managing Director, Jenn Juby, will be stepping in as Interim CEO, effective September 15, 2025, as the current CEO, Kayla Isabelle, begins her parental leave. An entrepreneur herself, Jenn brings decades of leadership and executive operations experience across the private sector, global organizations, and the startup ecosystem. She successfully scaled and exited her own retail business during the pandemic, growing it from the ground up to over $10 million in revenue in just sixteen months."

Jenn Juby will serve as Interim CEO of Startup Canada beginning September 15, 2025, while Kayla Isabelle begins parental leave and will return in summer 2026. Jenn has decades of leadership and executive operations experience across the private sector, global organizations, and the startup ecosystem. She scaled and exited a retail business during the pandemic, growing it to over $10 million in revenue in sixteen months. The Board expressed strong confidence in her entrepreneurial track record and leadership to guide the organization through the transition. Jenn said she will build on the existing foundation and continue supporting entrepreneurs driving innovation and economic growth across Canada.
