Sony has announced a price increase for PlayStation Plus subscriptions in Canada, marking the first such hike since September 2023. The new price for the PlayStation Plus Extra plan will rise to CAD 189.99. Although this change aims to sustain the quality of games and services offered, no new benefits will accompany the price hike. Other subscription tiers also saw increases. The company is also implementing price adjustments in other countries while continuing to offer free monthly games to subscribers.
