A Vancouver couple will replace a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner with a takeaway turkey sandwich and cranberry sauce to watch the Toronto Blue Jays' Game 1 of the American League Championship Series. The Blue Jays play the Seattle Mariners on Sunday, marking the team's first trip this far since 2016, with Game 2 on Monday. The couple traveled to Toronto for a family event and expect to return home in time to watch the game on their couch. They visited the Blue Jays' official merchandise store and selected Schneider jerseys. Fans in other Canadian cities, including Calgary, are also celebrating the playoff run.
