
"Peel police have charged four youths and recovered a stolen vehicle after an attempted robbery in Mississauga Wednesday. Four masked people, aged 14 to 17, wearing all-black and carrying hammers were seen entering Erin Mills Town Centre at around 2:50 p.m., Peel Regional Police said in a news release Sunday. Mall security and an on-site police officer noticed the suspects and pursued them before they could steal any mall property, Peel police said."
"In Sunday's release, police said their officers boxed in the vehicle and following a brief foot chase, were able to arrest the three suspects within three minutes of them fleeing the mall. In a video provided to CBC Toronto by Peel police, officers can be seen taking down multiple suspects on a neighbourhood street. Peel police said no injuries were reported."

Officers boxed in the vehicle and, after a brief foot chase, arrested the remaining three within three minutes of them fleeing the mall. No injuries were reported. The youths were charged with robbery, attempt to commit an indictable offence, possession of property obtained by crime, and disguise with intent, and were linked to an earlier York Region robbery attempt.
