Bottling volume from its Amherstburg plant will shift there, it said."

Diageo announced last year it would close the Amherstburg bottling factory; the Amherstburg plant was listed for sale and a majority of roughly 160 workers ratified a closure agreement. Ford said he would pull Crown Royal from LCBO shelves as soon as Diageo closes the plant in February, citing eventual job shifts to the U.S. Diageo said bottling for Canadian and non-U.S. markets will move to Valleyfield, Quebec and that it will maintain a significant footprint in Canada.
