Effective April 5, 2025, U.S. Customs regulations will lower the formal entry processing threshold from $2,500 to $800. This significant change is expected to increase the volume of shipments requiring formal customs clearance, leading to multi-day delays. In response, the company is scaling operations to manage this surge in processing needs. To further mitigate issues, from April 21, 2025, the company will temporarily suspend B2C shipments to private individuals in the U.S. with declared values exceeding $800, until further notice.
Effective April 5, 2025, shipments to the U.S. with a declared customs value over USD 800 will require formal entry processing, resulting in increased delays.
This change has led to a surge in formal customs clearances, prompting around-the-clock management of the increased workload by staff.
Due to the formal entry processing requirement for shipments over USD 800, we anticipate multi-day delays for affected shipments regardless of origin.
Starting April 21, 2025, we are temporarily suspending B2C shipments to private individuals in the U.S. for declared values exceeding USD 800.
