The Jeep Compass will be built at the Belvidere Assembly Plant in Illinois. The Brampton plant has been shut since early 2024 for retooling, halted in February amid tariff threats. Ontario Premier Doug Ford said he will press Stellantis to keep the plant open and may reconsider provincial funding.
