Tim Piasentin of Maple Ridge, BC was selected in the fifth round of the 2025 MLB Draft by the Toronto Blue Jays as a lefty hitter, righty thrower at third base. The 6-foot-3 infielder has raw power and can hit to all fields. He played extensively with Canada's Junior National Team, including the 2024 U18 PANAM qualifier alongside Owen Gregg and Aiden Taggart. In 2025 he played for the Okotoks Dawgs and in the MLB Draft League, hitting .333 in limited action and going 9-for-24 (.375) on the JNT spring tour. He attended the MLB Draft Combine and ranked 108th by Baseball America. The Blue Jays kept him in Dunedin for development.
