Aer Lingus announces new direct flights from Dublin Airport to Mexico
Briefly

Aer Lingus has announced a new winter route from Dublin to Cancún, operating three times weekly on its A330-300 aircraft from January 6 to April 29. This service aims to cater to the rising demand for seasonal travel experiences in addition to their summer offerings. Cancún, famous for its resorts and proximity to archaeological sites, attracts honeymooners and culinary tourists. The launch coincides with new routes to Nashville and Indianapolis and is supported by local government and diplomatic ties celebrating 50 years of relations between Mexico and Ireland.
"Our research highlights a strong appetite amongst customers for new travel experiences, particularly seasonal destinations beyond the peak summer period," said Lynne Embleton, Aer Lingus's Chief Executive Officer.
"Quintana Roo, the Mexican Caribbean, welcomes and celebrates the first direct Dublin to Cancun flight from Aer Lingus," said Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa, adding that it would work with the airline to make the route a success.
