A three-month, multi-jurisdictional investigation led to the arrest of six people on drug trafficking and firearm charges. Multiple law enforcement agencies participated, including police forces in Toronto and Durham Region, provincial police and Correctional Service Canada. Search warrants were executed at homes and storage lockers in Toronto, Vaughan, Barrie, Espanola and Innisfil, and at a correctional facility in Gravenhurst. Investigators seized 102 kilograms of cocaine, a loaded firearm and over $135,000 in cash. Four men and two women face numerous drug trafficking and firearm charges. Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
