
"In the early morning hours of Jan. 11, multiple masked people dressed in dark clothing broke into a Lockwood Leasing on South Service Road W., Halton police said in a news release Monday. The front window was smashed while the building was unoccupied and suspects accessed a lock box that contained car keys, police said. Eight luxury vehicles were then driven off the lot, including a Ferrari, two Porsches, three Mercedes-Benz cars and two BMWs."
"On Jan. 12, Peel Regional Police contacted investigators about the recovery of a Porsche 911, which included the arrest of two men, according to the release. Halton investigators connected the men to the thefts in Oakville. The two 24-year-old men, from Mississauga and Victoria Harbour, have been charged with breaking and entering, and disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence. The men face additional charges with Peel police as a result of their arrests there, the release said."

The stolen cars included a Ferrari, two Porsches, three Mercedes and two BMWs. On Jan. 12 a Porsche 911 was recovered and two men were arrested and linked to the thefts. The two men, both 24 and from Mississauga and Victoria Harbour, were charged with breaking and entering and disguise with intent and face additional charges. Four stolen vehicles were recovered abandoned across the Greater Toronto Area. The eight vehicles are valued at about $2 million. Investigators continue to seek suspects and vehicles and request tips to Crime Stoppers.
