On Monday morning, eleven high schools in Toronto received threats, prompting an evacuation at Marc Garneau Collegiate and a hold and secure at Winston Churchill Collegiate. Police responded to the threats, which were reported around 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. respectively. After investigation, police determined that the threats were unfounded. A spokesperson indicated that the threats may have originated from the same individual(s) and that the investigation is ongoing, with police seeking information from the public.
