VIDEO: Sonoma County deputies chase theft suspects using helicopter
"An eye in the sky helped deputies capture suspected mail thieves in Santa Rosa. You see here they were tracking the thieves driving recklessly through neighborhoods. This is what it looked like after a helicopter patrol tracked a car that sped away from police. "They're on Hoehn and Frontage Road. They're passing on the shoulder," a deputy said from the helicopter."
"The driver hit a guardrail while trying to get onto southbound Highway 101 from westbound Highway 12. As the car stopped on the side of the Baker Avenue off-ramp, you can see someone throw something out. Deputies recovered the item, which was a cellphone. They also say they found a large amount of suspected stolen mail in the car. Deputies arrested four people."
