The contract restricts floating of RNs between facilities, improves meal and rest breaks, and strengthens workplace violence-prevention policies. Nurses gained a central role in selecting, designing and validating new technology, including artificial intelligence systems used in patient care. The measures aim to improve patient safety, nurse retention and workplace conditions while ensuring safeguards on AI implementation.
