Two arrested following shooting near East Bay elementary school
"Chou said a witness reported hearing gunshots and saw a male pointing a handgun at a vehicle with tinted windows. The shooter and the person who was the target both were gone by the time officers arrived, but investigators found more than one used shell casing on the roadway. Police also placed the school on a lockdown for what Chou said was a safety precaution. The lockdown stayed in effect four about four hours."
"Officers later served a search warrant in the 1800 block of Wilcox Avenue and arrested the man on suspicion of being an accessory to the crime, Chou said. Chou said officers arrested him there without incident and booked him into Juvenile Hall on a firearms charge."
