Total Wireless launched a California LifeLine discount program offering qualifying residents unlimited talk and text plus 6GB of high-speed data every 30 days for as low as $0 per month. Customers receive a free smartphone upon enrollment, and unlimited data is available for $11 per month. Enrollment can be completed in-store using scannable QR codes or online. Recipients of CalFresh, Medi-Cal, Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit and other government assistance programs automatically qualify. New and existing customers may apply; LifeLine assistance cannot be transferred and only one benefit is allowed per household. Total Wireless operates roughly 1,900 exclusive stores nationwide, including over 200 in California.
