
"He was identified by the coroner's bureau on Monday as Kevin Jellison, 58, of Roseville. The California Highway Patrol said that according to initial reports, about 2;30 p.m. Sunday the motorcyclist, who was riding a Honda VT model, and a Toyota Prius, a Tesla model S and a Suburu Crosstrek were involved in a collision on eastbound I-80 west of Powell Street."
"Additional details about the collision have not been released as the investigation is continuing. Jellison died at the scene. There were no reports of any other injuries. All the vehicle drivers remained at the scene and were cooperating with investigators, the CHP said, adding that at this time alcohol or drugs do not appear to be factors. The CHP said three freeway lanes closest to the center divider were shut down at approximately 2:52 p.m. and reopened at 4:19 p.m. during the investigation"
A 58-year-old motorcyclist, Kevin Jellison of Roseville, was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on eastbound Interstate 80 west of Powell Street in Oakland. The collision occurred about 2:30 p.m. and involved a Honda VT motorcycle, a Toyota Prius, a Tesla Model S and a Subaru Crosstrek. Jellison died at the scene and no other injuries were reported. All vehicle drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Alcohol or drugs do not appear to be factors at this time.
