Pruneyard Cinemas announced that it reached an agreement with its landlord and will remain open after a years-long rent dispute. The theater had planned to close due to rising costs and mounting financial pressure. Pruneyard Cinemas filed a lawsuit against Regency Centers alleging unfair rent increases and mismanagement during a period of industry decline.
