"OAKLAND A person was wounded in a freeway shooting Friday morning, the California Highway Patrol said. It was the second Oakland freeway shooting in two days. According to initial reports, Friday's shooting happened about 6:15 a.m. on the connector from eastbound I-80 to southbound I-880, the CHP said. "Two vehicles were struck by gunfire from a passing vehicle, but the occupants were not hurt, the CHP said. A possible motive for the shootings has not been released. Multiple witnesses called the CHP with a description of the suspect's vehicle and a 57-year-old Oakland man was arrested about 4:08 p.m. after his vehicle crashed in the center divide on southbound I-680 near Olympic Boulevard in Walnut Creek."
