"OAKLAND - A 36-year-old man is facing several felony charges in connection with a car-to-car shooting last month on Interstate 880 in Oakland, according to prosecutors. Hakeem Jones is charged with assault with a semi-automatic firearm, shooting at an occupied motor vehicle and discharging a gun at a vehicle, the Alameda County District Attorney's Office announced Friday. Prosecutors said the criminal complaint includes a charging enhancement for the use of a gun."
"On Aug. 15, the victim was driving northbound on I-880 when he spotted Jones driving aggressively through traffic and trying to pass other motorists, according to prosecutors. "When Mr. Jones was unable to pass the victim's vehicle, it is alleged that Mr. Jones fired multiple gunshots, striking the victim's vehicle," prosecutors said in a news release. Jones was arraigned Friday in Dept. 12 of the Wiley Manuel Courthouse in Oakland."
