"A magnitude 4.7 earthquake struck Northern California on Sunday afternoon to the east of Lassen Volcanic National Park, according to the U.S. Geological Survey, and it was reportedly felt as far south as Sacramento 200 miles away. The quake hit at 4:41 p.m. about nine miles northwest of Susanville in Lassen County, and around 90 miles east of Lassen Peak, an active volcano inside the national park."
"Lassen Peak last erupted from 1914 to 1917. Just under 300 people reported feeling the quake on the USGS site, four of them near the Sacramento area. There were no reports of damage or injuries from the quake, which shook at a depth of about three miles. The earthquake first received a preliminary magnitude of 5.0 before it was downgraded. An aftershock with a magnitude of 2.5 struck at 5:16 p.m., with the same epicenter near Susanville."
